Wilson Hallways transformed with student Art

Students in kindergarten recently finished their unit on Piet Mondrian. The major concepts were the primary colors and vertical and horizontal lines. Each student made a series of three using paint, construction paper, and crayon.

2nd grade students studied Vincent Van Gogh’s Wheat field with Crows painting. Students learned about Vincent’s brush stroke and how to paint like him. Students were also required to mix their own color palette.

Third grade students had fun making op-art with their hands. The project includes image repetition, watercolor and sharpie.
